Angina

What can not be eaten with angina?

The word sore throat (tonsillitis) is translated from Latin "squeeze, squeeze". The patient feels not only intense squeezing of the throat, but also severe pain when swallowing. It is not surprising that during illness, people refuse to eat or take in minimal quantities. Pain, swelling, suppuration on the tonsils significantly complicate food intake, make the mucous membrane of the throat hypersensitive to various temperature regimes, change the taste of foods and the patient's eating habits. It may seem surprising, but some dishes can aggravate the course of the disease. To prevent this from happening, you need to know what diet is shown for angina.

How to eat right with tonsillitis

Lack of appetite is one of the many symptoms of sore throat, especially purulent. Therefore, you cannot force the patient to eat. The body spends a lot of energy on digesting food, and during an illness a person is already weakened. Especially if a pronounced intoxication is noted in the clinical picture, characterized, among other things, by nausea and vomiting. With such symptoms, you don't really want to eat, and refusal to eat is a normal reaction of the body.

During the period of illness, the body spends the main forces on fighting infection. Therefore, food during this period needs light, quickly digestible. Nutrition for angina should be aimed at helping the body in the fight against pathology.
