It has an antimicrobial, local irritant effect, as a result of which the vessels expand, local blood flow is accelerated, and the delivery of biologically active elements is accelerated. As a result, inflammation, tissue edema decreases. It is enough to add 2 drops of iodine to water, where salt and soda are mixed. Rinsing is repeated no more than twice a day to avoid burns and dryness of the mucous membrane.
