It happens that in the evening we go to bed a healthy person, and in the morning we wake up with a stuffy nose. A runny nose in the morning can be a sign of many diseases, which requires careful diagnosis. This symptom causes discomfort and worsens the quality of life.

The causes of a runny nose can be hidden in an allergic reaction. Hyperreactivity of the immune system may be due to the influence of:

  • wool. Sometimes pets sleep in bed with the owner, which can lead to nasal congestion in a person with an allergic predisposition. It is also worth highlighting the allergy to fluff, which can be filled in the pillow;
  • dust, dust mites;
  • pollen from plants, which can settle on the bed with an open window and strong winds.

Other causes of morning nasal congestion include:

  1. hypothermia. This applies to people who freeze at night;

If the morning began with nasal congestion and hyperthermia, an infectious disease should be suspected. A person may be bothered by a headache, body aches, a sore throat, or a cough.

Allergy symptoms are watery eyes, itchy skin, eyes, conjunctival redness, coughing and rashes.

Ignoring the morning runny nose, you can wait for complications in the form of an attack of bronchial asthma.
