Treatment of ischemia of the heart with folk remedies

Ischemia is a pathological condition of the heart muscle that occurs due to a deficiency of oxygen supplied to the heart. This is due to a violation of blood flow through the coronary arteries, which feed the most important human organ. One of the main causes of the disease is the accumulation of plaques of fat in the vessels, they clog the lumen of the artery, blood cannot move normally to and from the heart. Ischemia provokes angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, cardiosclerosis.

Properties of herbs

A visit to the doctor will help eliminate heart problems, but traditional medicine can be successfully supplemented with non-traditional medicine. If the patient has recently become concerned about coronary heart disease, treatment with folk remedies will be very advisable.

Why do cores turn to traditional medicine for help? Many people believe in the healing power of nature and the wisdom of the people, who from time immemorial have used this power for their own good. Time-tested recipes are credited with magical properties, but the successful treatment of heart ischemia with folk remedies has a completely scientific explanation.

The plant kingdom is rich in nutrients that can improve the functioning of the heart and blood vessels.

On the basis of plant extracts, medicines are made that are used in traditional medicine. Vitamins and trace elements contained in some foods, vegetables, fruits, help to strengthen the heart muscle.

Plants that can be used to treat coronary heart disease:

Here are descriptions of some of the herbs and their benefits.

  1. Hawthorn... The plant helps the heart to contract more strongly, activates blood flow in the vessels that feed the heart, and can relieve arrhythmia attacks. Hawthorn has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, removes pain associated with angina pectoris. It contains hyperin (antioxidant), which protects blood vessels from damage, prevents the development of atherosclerosis.

The plant has a pronounced diuretic property, normalizes metabolic processes, relieves inflammation, helps to stop internal bleeding, fights against atherosclerosis of the cardiac vessels. Horsetail is rich in the following nutrients: magnesium, manganese, potassium, selenium, iodine, carotene, zinc, iron, vitamin C.

Magnesium and potassium are very useful for the normal functioning of the heart and blood vessels. They:

Lifestyle correction

Many naively believe that there is a miracle recipe that will save them from the disease as soon as possible.

Correction of the habitual diet and physical activity contributes to the successful treatment of coronary heart disease.

We'll have to get rid of bad habits: smoking, alcohol, drugs.

You need to monitor your weight. Moderate physical activity and a properly selected menu will help to save yourself from extra pounds. Lack of physical activity leads not only to fullness, but also to a weakening of the heart muscle.

As sports loads, it is better to choose slow running, cycling, walking, swimming. Exercise should be dosed and long enough (at least 30 minutes a day), but at the same time, the load should be increased gradually. Any exercise for the heart should be supervised by a physician. If the disease is already at an advanced stage, it is better to resort to physical therapy in a specially equipped office of the clinic, in the presence of a specialist.

The patient's diet should include foods that are healthy for the heart: onions, cabbage, corn, buckwheat, apples, pears, watermelon, blackberries, currants, blackberries, dried fruits, horseradish, garlic, cranberries, viburnum, wild garlic, banana, fatty fish, seafood , pumpkin, lean meat, herbs, raisins, grapefruit. The list goes on and on. The main thing is that these foods are nutritious for the heart, contain a lot of vitamins, and do not contribute to the concentration of body fat.

You need to give up sweet (you can eat a little), fatty, salty, smoked, spicy, fried, baked pastries. Such food leads to the accumulation of cholesterol in the blood and the formation of cholesterol clots.

Among other things, you need to observe the daily routine (rest and work in moderation and on time), get enough sleep, avoid stressful situations, and find more sources for positive emotions.

Chronic diseases should not be allowed to take their course, it is necessary to get rid of foci of infection in the body (for example, caries, tonsillitis), to be treated for colds and other diseases that weaken the heart muscle

Traditional medicine will always come to the aid of a patient with ischemia, but here it is important not to overdo it. Experiencing everything on yourself, you can cause irreparable harm to health. Herbal treatment is also a science, and it is better if it is applied after consultation with a cardiologist, and not by itself, but in conjunction with traditional methods and a properly organized lifestyle.
