Aloe cough recipes

Previously, an evergreen, strange cactus-like aloe tree grew on every windowsill. Recently, it has begun to disappear from our homes, but in vain. Aloe juice has truly unique healing properties that are used for medical, cosmetic and even prophylactic purposes. And to cope with such a trifle as an ordinary aloe cough can literally in a matter of days.

Properties of aloe

Aloe leaf juice has very powerful antibacterial properties and is effective against most pathogens. That is why it allows you to quickly cure even a cough that is infectious in nature. Especially if treatment is started at an early stage of the onset of the disease.

But not only for this we value aloe. The plant sap has a complex effect on the body, making it healthy and literally renewing it. The composition contains:

  • vitamins and minerals that accelerate the regeneration of cells and tissues, restoring mucous membranes damaged by coughing;
  • biostimulants - substances that activate cell growth and make the immune system work more intensively;
  • essential amino acids - strengthening the body and giving it an additional flow of energy;
  • allatoin is a substance that can quickly restore the structure of damaged cells, heal microcracks, wounds and sores, and relieve irritation.

In total, aloe juice contains more than 200 biologically active substances, which, interacting with each other, only enhance their medicinal properties. It is quickly absorbed by the body and the positive effect of the application is noticeable after a couple of hours.

Thus, the use of aloe for cough, thanks to its unique composition, helps not only to quickly cope with the main problem, but also to fight against the main disease that caused the cough.

How to make juice

Recently, commercially made aloe juice has appeared on the market. And although manufacturers claim that their products are completely free of preservatives, such statements raise serious doubts. Aloe juice can retain its healing properties for a long time if it is in a hermetically sealed container. But after opening, upon contact with air, they are quickly lost.

Therefore, it is better to prepare a medicine that contains freshly squeezed aloe juice. Even if you don't have the plant, individual leaves can be bought from the market. When buying, be sure to ask when they were cut and how they were stored.

If the aloe grows in your house, choose the lower leaves, large and juicy, for the juice. Please note that the plant must be at least three years old.

Before cutting off the leaves, it is advisable not to water the tree for at least 3-5 days - otherwise there will be too much water in them. To enhance the healing power of the juice, you do not need to squeeze it out immediately. It is better to wrap the leaves in a clean natural cloth (cotton, linen) and put them in the refrigerator for several days.

The prepared leaves must be peeled from the tough peel, the pulp must be cut into pieces and wrapped in several layers of clean gauze. Squeeze the juice into a glass container and immediately use it to prepare the medicine, or close it tightly with a lid and refrigerate. Leaky sealed juice loses its healing qualities within a day.
