Homemade ointments

You can make a healing ointment for the treatment of otitis media yourself. Consider the most effective recipes:

  • in 200 ml of vegetable oil (preferably olive oil) add 25 g of beeswax, heat over low heat until the wax is completely dissolved. Next, boil a hard-boiled egg, grind ½ part of the yolk and gradually add to the oil-wax mixture, mix thoroughly. Then the resulting composition should be filtered, poured into a glass container with a tight lid and placed in the refrigerator. For the treatment of otitis media, a small amount of medication is applied to the cotton wool and inserted into the ear (before use, the ointment should be warmed up to 35-45 ° C).
  • connect 2 tbsp. l. lanolin, 4 tbsp. dry herb celandine and 2 tbsp. petroleum jelly. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. It is recommended to store the finished product in a cool dark place. The medicine is applied to a cotton swab, which is then inserted into the ear canal for 3-4 hours. This procedure should be performed 1-2 times a day.

Home remedies, when used correctly, eliminate pain, relieve inflammation and do not negatively affect the body. Self-preparation medicines will help to cope with the inflammatory process at the initial stage of its development. With a complex course of the disease, the use of effective medications is required, which are prescribed by a specialist on an individual basis.
